bought am already very happy with the decision. Apple Mac Mini Desktop was a replacement method that I bought for my spouse - I am the home tech support resource & I was worn out of constantly having to keep her method patched, updated & rebuilt (from XP to Vista SP1) in order to fight off ad/malware that was constantly infecting it.

Although the hardware spec's for the Mini are lighter than the Vista method that Apple Mac Mini Desktop replaced, Apple Mac Mini Desktop is much snappier in browsing & using the included applications as compared to the Vista equivalents. correction to the displayed specs on Amazon - the included adapter is a mini-DVI to full DVI adapter, not a DVI/VGA adapter as listed. If your elderly monitor does not support DVI, you will need to receive a new monitor that supports it. Thinking about the graphics focus of Mac systems, this is a worthwhile investment in any case in the event you have an elderly VGA only monitor - the graphics will ""pop"" when you convert to DVI.
